MD Loutzenheiser
Guitar, Lead and backup vocals, Bass. Singer Songwriter Born in Canton Ohio. lived in Tucson AZ, Phoenix AZ, San Diego and now Prescott AZ. MD grew up in a Musically influenced family that listen to Big Band, Country and Rock. Growing up he was influenced by all genres. However, His first mainstay and love fell for upon the blues. Influenced by the likes of Muddy Waters, Howlin' Wolf, Jimmy Reed, BB King and many others. As time has passed his love for all genres have crept back into his life and he now loves playing a mix of all his favorites and of course Originals. Over the years Md Has played is several bands including Supply Side a southern rock band, 2 Shades of blue which expands over 35yrs as Blues, Rock, Country and now The Big Bug Creek Band
Johnny Regalado
Banjo, mandolin, Bass, pedal steel & Vocals. Born in San Francisco, CA. Johnny moved
to Bakersfield in the 60’s during the height of the Bakersfield sound movement where his Uncle Donny and Uncle Jim were actively playing music in the local country music scene and were unknowingly planting the seeds of country music in John. He later moved to Catalina Island with his mother in the late 60’s, where he was exposed to rock music his friends were listening to. He started learning rock guitar However, the early music influences in his life took over and with the folk scene movement happening it exposed John to Bluegrass. He retired his electric guitar and picked up an acoustic. He also learned to play the
banjo, mandolin, and some pedal steel. He played in several different bands on the Island over the years in several different genres including Country, Classic Rock, Bluegrass, and Western Swing. After 53 years on Catalina Island, he moved to Prescott Valley, AZ. He loves all forms of music but prefers bluegrass, western, western swing, and classic country. His influences are his Uncles Donny and Jim Pryor, Rusty Jones, Bob Wills, Doc Watson, the Stanley Brothers, and Haggard and Jones,
Virgil (Virg) Iler
Born In Seattle Washington. Vocals, Acoustic, Electric and Bass Guitars. Both Parents were musicians and as a result he started Playing music early as a child. While attending College he played in the house band at Morman Lake lodge near Flagstaff in AZ. He subsequently moved to Phoenix where he played in a newly formed band called Nightryder Playing Southern and Classic Rock. Virg then accepted a commission in the United States Air Force, talking a hiatus from performing professionally. He eventually moved his family to Southern California where he formed a new band called Southern Edge where he played Country and Southern Rock. His Influences include Gorden Lightfoot, Dan Fogelberg, Country, Bluegrass, and Southern/Classic Rock
